da aviator aposta: According to the BBC, West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that he is desperate to help Manchester City win the league by beating Liverpool on Monday.
The Hammers manager has seen his side lose their last three games in all competitions but he is keen to get back to winning form against the title-chasers.
What’s the word?
West Ham take on Liverpool on Monday, aware that the Reds are in desperate need of a victory.
Jurgen Klopp’s side lead the Premier League by two points from City after Pep Guardiola’s side beat Arsenal 3-1 on Sunday.
The east London outfit’s record against the Merseyside club is not good – they have lost their last four games against them by at least a three-goal margin.

But Pellegrini is keen for his side to return to form against the Reds, and do his former club Manchester City a favour in the process.
Per BBC, he said: “If we win, I will be very happy for our club first.
“We need a good performance against the leaders.
“After that, if we can give a hand to Manchester City, it’s not our problem, but of course I am a fan of Manchester City also.”
Pellegrini won the league at City in 2014.
Rivalries revealed
City fans will be desperate for Pellegrini’s side to do them a favour.
The Hammers have been in terrible form, however, losing their last three games in all competitions – including a dismal FA Cup defeat to AFC Wimbledon.
However, Pellegrini will want his side to be bang up for this one, as he bids to have his say on the destination of the Premier League title.
City have done all they can by beating Unai Emery’s men and they must now hope for other Premier League clubs to do them a favour, starting with their former manager and the Irons.
