da blaze casino: Rafael Benitez’s future at Newcastle United has sparked plenty of discussion this season; none more so than with the supporters.
da pinup bet: The Spaniard took over the North-East outfit towards the end of the 2015-16 campaign, but was unable to keep the club in the Premier League.
The former Liverpool and Real Madrid manager stuck by Newcastle’s side in the Championship and ended up guiding them back to the top flight by winning the league.
This season, it has been a tough test for Benitez and his players as they are not safe just yet given that the club sit just four points above the relegation zone with eight games left to play.
Due to previous transfer windows not going the manager’s way and uncertainty over the ownership of the club – Mike Ashley put the Magpies up for sale in October – there are doubts over Benitez’s future at St James’ Park.

Jamaal Lascelles, who was made club captain under Benitez, has made it clear in an interview with The Telegraph that the Spaniard has to stay.
“I think for a while now that the best thing that this club has done is brought the manager in. Since he has been here things have been on the up. He has brought the club together and the city together. I think it’s important that the club keeps him happy and holds on to him for as long as possible.
“He is an excellent manager, he has won trophies, he has worked in many different leagues and he knows what it takes to be successful. It has only been positive since he arrived.”
