da betano casino: Fifa have revealed their 55-man shortlist for a FIFPro World XI 2011, which will be announced along with the Ballon d’Or award in Zurich on January 9th.
FIFPro, the worldwide players’ union, will compile a team comprising one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three attackers, and the Premier League has 18 nominees.
Retired goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar is included in the potentials, as are defenders Ashley Cole, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Vincent Kompany, John Terry,
Nemanja Vidic and David Luiz.
Of the midfielder contenders the Premier League have five inclusions, namely David Silva, Yaya Toure, Gareth Bale, Frank Lampard and Nani.
In attack Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero,
Didier Drogba, Luis Suarez and Robin van Persie all stand a chance of representing English football in the team.
Spain has 22 contenders compared to England’s 18, with all of the Primera Division hopefuls playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona apart from Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao.
