da luck: The Athletic’s David Ornstein says that West Ham United have agreed a £22m deal to sign Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen, with his medical scheduled for lunchtime.
Ornstein told The Athletic’s transfer Q&A blog that Crystal Palace seemed to be leading the chase for the Championship star, but that the 23-year-old’s preference was a move to the London Stadium.

The journalist says the breakdown of the deal is £14m upfront with £8m in add-ons, and that he is due to undergo his medical examinations at lunchtime.
It would certainly be seen as a coup if the Irons manage to get a deal over the line for Bowen, who has scored 17 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for Hull during the current campaign despite the majority of his outings coming from the right wing, as per Transfermarkt.

The Hammers have certainly struggled for goals too, with Sebastien Haller their top marksman with just six to his name this term – Mark Noble is second on the list with four and Aaron Cresswell third with three.
