da jogodeouro： Charlton Athletic fans on Twitter have been making bold claims about former loanee goalkeeper and current Aston Villa number one Jed Steer after his Sky Bet Championship play-off heroics.
The 26-year-old was the hero for Dean Smith’s men in the semi-final second-leg penalty-shootout victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns, saving two penalties.
For the first half of the campaign, Steer plied his trade at the Valley helping the Addicks in their push for promotion from League One on loan from Villa, before being recalled to Villa Park at the turn of the year.
The Norwich-native performed well under Lee Bowyer but now, even after his latest excellent performance on the big stage, some Charlton supporters are still not convinced.
