da apostaganha: Who could have predicted that Tottenham would have been as successful this season as they have been? After Mauricio Pochettino guided Spurs to the Capital One Cup final last season, it looked to be the beginning of something positive, and this season has been built upon that.
da cassino online: Spurs currently sit third, level on points with north London rivals Arsenal and five points off leaders Leicester, and look like they could be top four candidates for the first time since the Harry Redknapp days. Everything is going well for the team at the moment, with the purchase of Toby Alderweireld from Atletico Madrid and Heung-min Son from Bayer Leverkusen helping to compliment the existing squad. With back-up signed in Kieran Trippier from Burnley and Kevin Wimmer, Spurs have depth, as well as strength. Could they be the dark horse for a competition win this season?
Considering that Spurs managed to keep hold of last season’s key players Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Hugo Lloris has helped to settle down the squad. Through keeping that talent, Pochettino has been able to maintain the same system and lead them to success.
This term, unlike others, they have beaten the teams they are supposed to beat on the whole, as well as winning agianst West Ham, Manchester City and Sunderland. Goals have certainly not been a problem this season, with Kane, Son, Nacer Chadli, Eriksen and Dele Alli being amongst the scorers regularly. The burden has been lifted off Kane’s shoulders slightly, so when he doesn’t score, it isn’t the issue it once was.
With the team doing well in the Premier League, still in the Europa League and in FA Cup mix, there is no reason that, injury permitting, this Tottenham team can’t continue to defy the odds and go far this season. Considering there is a large English presence in the team, which surely pleases Roy Hodgson, many will be hoping that Pochettino continues to shape and improve the talent he has.
With a Europa League tie with Fiorentina and an FA Cup clash against Crystal Palace, there is no reason why Spurs cannot go far in each competition. Pochettino has installed a world-beater mind set in his Tottenham team, and they look like they fear nobody. With this in mind, they could easily make at least the semi-finals of one of these competitions.
In regards to the Premier League, the team will most probably want to just focus on just getting Champions League football by staying in the top four. Although there is no reason why they cannot do better. They do, however, have a tough schedule ahead with Manchester City, West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United on the horizon. Should they win the majority of these matches, then there is no reason why they could not be given an outside chance to win the title, or finish above third.
However it would not be awful if they finished fourth, and should they keep hold of stars Kane, Eriksen and Alli, who may be given the chance to shine on the European stage in the summer, that will be considered an achievement.
