da betsul: Christian Benteke’s future at Liverpool has been in doubt ever since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp at the end of 2015, and with the Premier League season beginning in just a few days, it looks like they may have finally found a new home for their want-a-way striker.
da bwin: Both West Brom and Crystal Palace are keen on the Belgian forward, and you can expect a deal with one of the sides to be wrapped up by the time the transfer window slams shut in a few weeks time.
Benteke might not find himself as the only Liverpool man out of the club this summer however, with a host of names linked with the exit door amidst Jurgen Klopp’s Anfield revolution.
With that, here are THREE players that could follow Christian Benteke out of Liverpool…
Mario Balotelli
An easy one to start off with.
Mario Balotelli’s spell with Liverpool has been no short of a disaster, and Jurgen Klopp has explicitly mentioned on several occasions that he wants the Italian out of Anfield this summer.
He has completely failed to adapt to life at Liverpool, and at this point the side would take a cut-price fee just to get the Italian off of their books.
Lucas Leiva
Lucas Leiva has been an excellent servant to Liverpool FC in recent years, but his tenure at the club needs to come to an end shortly.
In recent years he has found his game time severely limited, be it by injury or by manager choice, and that will be set to continue next summer.
With his career beginning to wind down, he should look to join a side that he can play week in week out for.
A great servant; but it is time to move on.
Alberto Moreno
Simply put; Alberto Moreno is not good enough to play as a first choice left back for Liverpool anymore.
Last season he was an absolute disaster; defensively inefficient and prone to mistakes seemingly every single week. With Jurgen Klopp looking to build Liverpool into title contenders, they cannot rely on inconsistent stars like Moreno.
They should look to move him on and use the funds to sign a more reliable left back going forward.
