da dobrowin:
da gbg bet: [ad_pod ]For all the success Liverpool have been having so far this season, their Under-23 team has been slow out of the blocks. The senior side may have won their first three league games and already lifted the UEFA Super Cup, but the U23s have been dreadful.Despite boasting some top talents, such as Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, they lost their first three games of the season. On Monday they put that right though, as they brushed aside Southampton’s U23 squad.Rhian Brewster took to Twitter after their first victory of the season.
The striker’s post was very to the point. He pointed out that he’d gotten his first goal and that the team had gotten their first win and then his focus immediately switched towards the next game.
Brewster hasn’t let the win against Southampton cloud his team’s poor start to the campaign, and he’s remained committed to the task at hand.
It’s a great mentality to see in a player so young – as he’s not allowed himself to get carried away after one goal and one win.
This type of mindset will certainly help him when the time comes for him to make appearances for the first-team.
