da betsul: West Bromwich Albion may be high flying in the league, but in some ways, they still haven’t learned their lessons.
The Baggies have one of the best academy systems in the country, producing a conveyor belt of talent in the black country, though far too often they see young players slip from their grasp.
Think Izzy Brown. Think Louie Barry. Think Morgan Rogers. Even think Nathan Ferguson, for the time being.
Last weekend, the Daily Mail reported that emerging prospect Rayhaan Tulloch is attracting interest from Midlands rivals Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Southampton.

The England U18 international is primarily a striker, but he’s able to operate on either wing and has been tipped for big things ever since Alan Pardew brought him into the first team aged 16.
There’s also interest from a host of Football League clubs as many see him as a potential loan candidate including Sunderland in League One.
Tulloch could be left with a tough decision to make next month if any bids or temporary offers do indeed come in for him, but there’s only one move he should consider.
And that’s a loan, not a permanent move away.
The Baggies may or may not strengthen in January, but if manager Slaven Bilic cannot add a striker to his ranks then it will only take an injury or two for the 18-year-old to be fast-tracked into the first-team, you’d imagine.
Even if they do secure an option in his position, he can go out for a couple of months and prove his worth to the Croatian.
It can always be re-evaluated in the summer.
Tulloch has scored four and assisted two in nine Premier League 2 matches this campaign, playing in just about every attacking position possible, per Transfermarkt, so there’s even a good chance he’s given a look in at some point.
Patience may be key, but Albion need to make sure they are clear with their intentions on him.
